Cashiers is 5.5 miles away, Highlands is 16 miles, Brevard 24 miles and the Sapphire Valley Community Center is a mere 2.7 miles away. You are centrally located to restaurants in Sapphire and Cashiers and the Ingles grocery store is 4.6 miles from the house.
The living room is spacious, has a gas fireplace and a 65″ Smart TV – you are able to sign into your favorite movie or news app.
The dining table is off the living room and can seat 6 – the kitchen is located off the dining area and there is a 2 seat island bar.
The kitchen is newly remodeled with new granite countertops, a new dishwasher and a new refrigerator.
Off the living area is the King master bedroom with its en-suite bathroom which includes a walk-in shower, tub and toilet as well as a double sink vanity.
The two queen bedrooms are located on the other side of the house and share a bathroom which has a shower tub.
There is a loft area, accessible by a flight of stairs off the living room. The loft has a sleeper sofa as well as a Smart TV.
There is a double garage that is attached to the house and is accessible through a flight of stair leading down from the living area.
When renting Golden you are able to purchase guest passes at the Sapphire Valley Resort at $3/day per person with a 3 day minimum – activities include: Indoor and outdoor pools, putt-putt, a par 3 9 hole golf course, horse riding, skiing and tubing during the winter, discounted golf at the Sapphire National 18 hole golf course. During the summer months there is a kids mini camp where kids can be dropped off for a few hours or the whole day. you will also have access to Sapphire lake where you can rent kayaks and canoes.

I cannot recommend this adorable house enough. It was perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 children) vacation in the snow. We had coffee on the front deck while deer walked across the yard below. While staying at the house you actually get full access to the Sapphire Valley Resort just down the road. Everything in the area is just a short drive from this house. There was a supermarket where we were able to grab some things to have with us. The gorgeous kitchen and spacious dining area were great for a night in after a day spent playing in the snow at the local resort. On the nights we didn’t feel like cooking there was a nice selection of restaurants nearby as well. The laundry came in handy for snow clothes. The fire place was cozy in the evenings. All of the beds are comfortable, and the whole house was beautiful and clean. The host was sweet and very responsive. It was a perfect stay. Even my kids have fond memories of “that pretty house in North Carolina.”
