Welcome to our stunning lakefront home located in Western North Carolina and on beautiful Lake Toxaway. This 4 bedroom, 3 bath home, nestled along the serene shores of this private lake, offers the perfect blend of tranquility and luxury. The house sits on level land, perfect for family fun and has breathtaking views of the water. There is a private dock where you can sunbathe , swim and dock your rented boat (unfortunately Lake Toxaway will not allow the use of private boats).

The spacious light and bright interior features modern amenities and cozy furnishings, ensuring a comfortable stay for you and your loved ones. The King master with it’s en suite bathroom (twin sink vanity and large walk in shower) has large windows with views of the lake. The guest Queen and twin bedrooms are also off the main level and share a bathroom between them. The Twin over Full bedrooms are located off the kitchen in what was once the garage. This bedroom has a bathroom which is also used as the powder room.

Located off the living room and also accessible from the porch is a large screened in porch with a gas grill and an outside table for outside meals. The large porch has rockers to laze away those warm summer afternoons – enjoy a book, a glass of wine or simply sit back, relax and enjoy your beautiful view of Lake Toxaway.

White Squirrel Retreat

Located just 2.1 miles from the center of town, you can easily walk if you’re so inclined. The Brevard Health and Racquet Club is also in walking distance (0.2miles) where you can pay for a day pass and swim in the pool, work out et.

White Squirrel Retreat is a spacious 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home that has two levels. The entry level has a large living room with TV (all TV’s are streaming only), a separate dining room that seats 8 and there is a breakfast counter that seats 3. The kitchen is off the living room and it is large with lots of granite countertops and kitchen cabinets. Stainless steel appliances.

The King master bedroom has an attached bathroom with large his/hers walk in closets, two vanities and a walk in shower. The laundry is also on the main level.

Upstairs has 3 bedrooms as well as an office. The 1st guest bedroom has a TV as well as an attached bathroom with double sink vanity and a walk in shower. The 3rd and 4th guest bedrooms are both queen bedrooms and share a bathroom with double sink vanity and there is a walk in shower.

A Winsome Place

Welcome to our mountain home, “A Winsome Place” – 4.2 miles to Cashiers Crossroads and 10 minutes from the Signal Ridge Marina where you can rent a boat for the day on Lake Glenville. Our perfectly located and well maintained home has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms as well a loft with 3 twin beds. A Winsome Place can be your “home away from home” as it is well stocked with everything you could possibly require in a vacation home, including fiber optic internet (Wi-Fi) at 300Mbps.

“A Winsome Place” has 3 bedrooms, a King bed in the primary bedroom and two Queen bedrooms, all on the main entrance floor. The master bedroom has an attached bathroom with a shower tub. and there is a large walk in closet. Starter supplies of shampoo, bar soap, shower cap, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing detergent as well as laundry detergent is supplied – any stay over 3 nights, you should bring your own supplies. We also furnish a bath towel, hand towel and a facecloth per person.

Across the living room are the two guest Queen bedrooms that share a full bathroom with a shower / tub. Above these two bedrooms is an open loft that has pull down stair access – there are 3 twin beds in the loft as well as a full bathroom (shower). Please note that this area is not suitable for small/younger children and is restricted to use by guests 13 years old and above.

The living room with sectional sofa has a TV as well as a wood burning fireplace. There is a dining table that is off the living room and kitchen. The kitchen is very well stocked – double door stainless steel refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a dual Keurig Pod / drip coffee machine, a Nespresso machine and an electric kettle. You will find all the pots, pans, casserole dishes, cutlery and crockery as well as baking pans that you could possibly need! There is a laundry off the kitchen that has a side by side full size washer and dryer. You will also find a small fold up desk and chair should you need to set up a small “office” while visiting.

Off the living room, kitchen and dining area is the game room with a pool table as well as a TV. There are board games and a small selection of books for those rainy days. Please note that all TV’s are smart TV’s – you will be able to sign in to your favorite apps.

As “A Winsome Place” is pet friendly you are welcome to bring your smaller furry friend that is a maximum of 20lbs (with a non refundable pet fee of $150.00). We have a small fenced in dog run along the side of the house.

Also outside the house is a deck with a gas grill and an outside table with seating. There is also a fire pit in the front yard – Children will enjoy smores etc. Please note adult supervision is required.

Please further note that there is no trash collection in Trillium – Trillium has a communal trash dump – directions to this facility will be furnished in the property notebook, found in the house. You will also find a plethora of local information in the notebook – nearby hikes, restaurants and shopping in Highlands, Cashiers, Sapphire and Lake Toxaway, waterfalls, fly fishing and much more!

Please also note that we are not a part of Trillium Country Club and as a result golfing and other Trillium amenities are not included.

Mountain Cottage

This newly remodeled 1 bedroom Park Model is as cute as a button. Featuring a king bedroom with full bathroom. The kitchen is large and the living area is comfy, light and bright! There are 2 TV’s with Cable and there is a screened in porch that runs along the side of the home. We now have a new washer / dryer.

This 5 bedroom, 5 1/2 bathroom home located conveniently close to Cashiers and Highlands boasts stunning views of Lake Glenville as well as the surrounding Mountains. There are 3 levels to this fabulous house – the upper level comprises of two Queen bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms as well as a sitting area between the two.

The main floor hosts a large kitchen with a huge island including two ovens and an icemaker – there is a fireplace and sitting area immediately off the kitchen with a breakfast table, together with a small bar. Also off the kitchen is a large round glass topped dining table as well as the majestic great room which has lake views, another wood burning fireplace and a smart TV with satellite reception. Down the hall off the great room is a small study and desk with laser printer/copier should you need to take care of any office matters. The Internet modem is located within this room, as well as a landline with free domestic calling. Further on down the hallway is the King master bedroom along with an en-suite bathroom and large walk in closet. The main floor also is the home of the large laundry with washer and dryer and a lot of counter space. There is a powder room and an additional full bathroom on this level.

The lower level hosts 2 bedrooms, one with twins and one with full beds, that share a bathroom between them. There is also a second living room/theatre with a 75″ TV, DVD player, satellite receiver, and surround sound. Off the living room is a game room with table tennis, foosball, darts, and a card table. You’ll also find a Sauna and a wet bar on the lower level together with a closet full of games for those rainy days.

The community has tennis courts for your enjoyment as well as community dock. Racquets are provided. Access to the dock is a concrete road, steep at times however not all that long – please check out the video included in the pictures. There are 4 kayaks available for your use – a liability waiver will be required to be signed.

The decks are large with a gas firepit, grill, hammock, swing, and of course, plenty of seating including tables for outdoor eating and two gas heaters.

Although there is a double garage, this is not for guest use, but has a backup refrigerator for these cold beers!

Please take note – as with most houses in the Cashiers / Lake Glenville area, Internet is available however not as reliable nor as fast as in the city. “We have what we have”… the infrastructure for 20Mbps and more is simply not available, but we subscribe to the fastest available service.
