Waterdance

Fish Camp at Waterdance is a unique property located on the river in Cullowhee North Carolina. The ultimate nature experience and a bonus if fly fishing for trout is your favorite pastime….you’ll have the river all to yourself! You are more than welcome to bring your furry friend upon approval and there is a $150.00 non refundable pet fee per pet (maximum 2 pets). NOTE – The cabin has heat and A/C via heat pump.

This 2 story, 2 bedroom, 2 bath log cabin has a rustic feel yet is extremely well appointed and meticulously presented. The main floor includes the living room which has a large wood burning fireplace as well as satellite TV and a DVD player with an extensive DVD library for your enjoyment. We have some board games for rainy days. There is a covered porch off the living room that overlooks the river.

The dining area has a lovely wooden table that seats 6 and is located off the living room and just outside the kitchen. The kitchen has a gas stove and is well equipped for your stay – you will find all the pots and pans, Tupperware, cutlery and crockery that you will need.

The master bedroom has a Queen bed and is located off the living room and dining area – there is a gas fireplace in the master bedroom – there is a small porch off the master bedroom that overlooks the river (20 feet away!). The master bathroom has a walk in shower as well as a tub with a river view.

The upper level is home to the 2nd bedroom which has 4 twin beds (beds stack up on each other) and the bathroom has a large tub.

PLEASE NOTE: We have the best internet that the area supports (satellite internet) and you will be able to make wifi supported calls and send emails and texts – you will not be able to stream movies or hold Zoom meetings. There is a landline with unlimited long distance for your use. The washing machine is a washer / dryer all in one combo – please be aware that laundry will take much longer than usual – there is limited space in this cabin.

OUTDOORS: There is a firepit for your enjoyment. There is a covered pavilion on the waters edge that has a large wood burning fireplace, built in grill and picnic tables that you are able to use.

FISHING: Guests at Fish Camp at Waterdance are allowed to fish upriver as far as they would like and are welcome to fish downriver ONLY AS FAR AS the pavilion. We ask you do not go downriver past the pavilion as that part of the river is controlled by Brookings. Should you desire to have a guide farther down past the pavilion please call and schedule with Brookings.
